🍐2 Most Common Pitfalls to Strategies...
Do me a solid: take my 4-question NPS survey! (30 seconds or so!)
The Big Idea: Pitfalls of Strategy.
Two common ones:
Trying to do too much.
Not making a decision.
In almost every strategy workshop I do, I see some variation of these two points.
The business either wants to be everything to everyone. Or, they try to avoid making a decision by “planning”, creating “working groups”, “meeting”, or something else.
As we’ve covered consistently here, strategy is about:
Making a decision on where you are heading.
Focusing on the destination.
Taking consistent action to get to your goal.
If you can’t look at your strategy and say, “Yes. We are doing that.” you might not have a strategy.
